Festival-goers get a taste of Cold Rock


logo_coldrockCold Rock Ice Creamery will target food and drink lovers at the Taste of Melbourne festival as part of its ongoing recruitment drive.

The national ice cream chain, owned by Melbourne-based Franchised Food Company (FFCo), will sell products as well as promote franchise opportunities from its stand during the event which runs from Thursday to Sunday.

“We think there are good synergies between the market that will attend Taste of Melbourne and Cold Rock, both from a Cold Rock brand awareness and a new franchisee perspective,” FFCo managing director Stan Gordon said.

“Taste will provide Cold Rock with an exceptional platform from which to interact with and sell to a knowledgeable and affluent foodie audience, some of whom may be considering setting up their own franchise.”

Mr Gordon said Cold Rock’s participation in Taste of Melbourne would also allow the brand to position itself as one of the best in the treats industry.

“We look forward to further positioning our brand as a unique and exciting leader in its field and generating strong franchisee interest in Cold Rock,” he said.
